JHF three staff members participated in the Ginnie Mae Summit2014 hosted by Government National Mortgage Association (Ginnie Mae) on September 22 -23, 2014 in Crystal City, Virginia as an initial undertaking based on relevant provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) concluded on January 9, 2014 between JHF and Ginnie Mae.

At the Opening Statement, Hon. Julian Castro, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, welcomed the staff members from JHF to the audience, which highlights the partnership between Japan and U.S. The 600 participants from financial industries attended the Summit and actively discussed the current status of the US housing market and the framework of Ginnie Mae Program.
