Japan Housing Finance Agency (“JHF”) hosted an online workshop on Green Housing Finance for Cagamas Berhad, the national mortgage corporation of Malaysia.

Attendees from both countries interactively exchanged knowledge, experience and perspectives with regard to green housing finance and related topics, such as housing loans for energy efficient houses, green bonds and sustainability bonds/SRI sukuk. Securities Commission of Malaysia and Central Bank of Malaysia (Bank Negara Malaysia) also attended the online workshop.

The online workshop was conducted on November 19, 2020 supported by the Housing Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
