President Mouri had a meeting with Secretary of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development

On November 2, 2022,Shinji Mouri, President of Japan Housing Finance Agency（“JHF”）, had a meeting with Ms. Marcia Fudge, Secretary of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, in Washington DC, USA.
Through the meeting with Secretary Fudge, the two leaders confirmed the need to further deepen the friendly relationship between the U.S. and Japan in housing finance and to accelerate information sharing toward resolving common issues. With the building of a personal relationship of trust, further cooperation between the U.S. and Japan is expected in the future.
President Mouri delivered a keynote speech at the 2022 Ginnie Mae Global Investors Summit on November 3, 2022, upon the request from the Government National Mortgage Association (“Ginnie Mae”)．
JHF has continued exchange of information with Ginnie Mae since the two organizations signed the Memorandum of Understanding in 2014.
In his keynote speech following the keynote speech by Secretary Fudge and Ms. Alana McCargo, President of Ginnie Mae, President Mouri explained the history of Japan's housing policies and efforts to address issues ahead of the rest of the world.
