JHF co-hosted “Workshop on Housing and Housing Finance Market in Indonesia”

Japan Housing Finance Agency (JHF) successfully co-hosted a webinar, “Workshop on Housing and Housing Finance Market in Indonesia” with PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) (“SMF”) on December 8, 2022.
From Indonesian side, executives, senior members and staff from Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (“PUPR”, the Ministry of Public Works and Housing) , Badan Pengelola Tabungan Perumahan Rakyat (“BP Tapera”) and SMF attended this webinar.
JHF presented the progress of joint data collection survey with PUPR and SMF on the housing and housing finance market in Indonesia.
Following JHF’s presentation, PUPR, SMF and BP Tapera gave their presentations on housing policy and programs in Indonesia, challenges and initiatives of each organization respectively.
It has become a valuable opportunity for all participants to establish common understanding about Indonesian housing sector and to seek for further cooperation on housing / housing finance development.
The workshop was conducted with the support and attendance of the Housing Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
