Japan Housing Finance Agency (JHF) hosted a training program, “Training Program for Further Housing Finance Development in Indonesia” from October 23 to 26, 2023.

Delegates from Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (“PUPR”, the Ministry of Public Works and Housing), Kementerian Keuangan (the Ministry of Finance), PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) (“SMF”) and Badan Pengelola Tabungan Perumahan Rakyat (“BP Tapera”) attended the program.

The program covered housing / housing finance related topics such as banking and mortgage banking business in Japan, sustainable finance in Asia. On-site visit to home manufacturer's factory was also conducted as a part of the program.

In addition, a workshop with Japanese housing / housing finance stakeholders took place during the program and the participants communicated these stakeholders interactively and received their honest feedback to promote investment opportunities for the Indonesian housing sector.

This training program was organized with the support of the Housing Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
