Japan Housing Finance Agency (JHF) hosted a training program, “Training Program for Affordable and
Green Housing Finance Development in Indonesia” from October 28 to 31, 2024.

Delegates from Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (“PUPR”, the Ministry of Public
Works and Housing), Kementerian Keuangan (the Ministry of Finance), PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial
(Persero) (“SMF”), Badan Pengelola Tabungan Perumahan Rakyat (“BP Tapera”) and PT Bank Tabungan
Negara(Persero) Tbk (“BTN”) attended the program.

The program covered topics related to housing/housing finance in Japan, such as housing policy, urban
development, asset accumulation housing loans (“Zaikei-jutaku-yushi”), housing loans by private financial
institutions, development of IT systems and support for overseas markets in the housing sector.

In addition, the participants visited an actual urban redevelopment case and a solar house factory.

This training program was organized with the support of the Housing Bureau, Ministry of Land,
Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
